Chinese new year 牛年快乐

Toss yee sang (raw fish salad ) as high as you can and usher in the year of the ox with sumptuous reunion dinner, merry making and colorful lion dance performances. lf you are unmarried and still young enough to receive ang pao (red packet) count yourself lucky, otherwise dig deep into your pockets to treat the young ones. The ang pao consider a blessing for auspicious year ahead.

鱼生的吃法颇有讲究,归在一个“捞”字,而且要越捞越高,越高越好,故而捞鱼生时激奋离座直立,边高呼“捞起”、“发财”,边伸筷将盘中的各色菜蔬高高捞起的景象已是习惯。

象征着“风生水起”的意思同时寄托着人们对来年幸福的希望,有很好的兆头。意为顺顺利利,年年有余.步步高升的吉祥意义。

做法考究而充满意义,薄薄的鱼片(可选三文鱼及桂花鱼),配上切碎的五柳丝、红椒丝、炸芋丝、海蜇丝、罗白丝、清瓜丝、炸薯条、白胡椒、柚子肉、芝麻、花生、加入梅子酱等等全部拌在一起,色泽鲜艳让人食指大动!

当鱼生原材料呈上桌面的时候,大声贺念: 恭喜发财!接着配上吉祥兆头的香料如:散入胡椒粉则念叨锦上添花;配入五香粉念五福临门;再加入花生粉念金银满屋;接着淋上酸梅酱念龙马精神;浇上柠檬汁则意喻为大吉大利;最后淋上花生油意为财源滚滚。

接着是吃鱼生最有趣之处,把所有的配料绞和在一起的时候,人们会一边高喊:"捞起"一边用筷子夹起配料往上捞.大声道: 一捞风生水起,二捞步步高升, 三捞生意兴隆,捞得最高就代表来年鸿运当头,吉星高照!
